As a young designer (and all my designer friends would agree to it),  “Waiting for an inspiration” tops the favourite dialogue list for us. And it should, designers need inspiration to come up with (so called) path breaking idea.

So for my first blog, this had to be the topic. Hi, I am Roshi Kasliwal and this is “My Perception on things,” things that I see around me .

Internet has changed our lives all that we have come closer to people BLAH BLAH BLAH. But one thing is for sure that internet is flooded with don’t know, maybe hundreds and thousands of design inspiration sites. But the thing is, does these websites really inspire us to come up with that crazy idea, or we end up duplicating which someone has already done. Or even worse, getting depressed and saying to ourselves, ”A bird can fly, dog can smell and I can’t even do any creative work.”

So where and what should we designers be looking for the inspiration?
What I think, as this is my perception, the path breaking idea comes with a very simple habit – Look around, talk and keep a diary.
Look around the world and not just on your screens, observe the very minute detail of things happening around you, talk to people, discuss on things, discuss your ideas get their views on it and the most important thing – keep writing, scribbling, doodling in your diaries. Write everything in that small pocket size thing and I am sure it will help, well it does help me a lot.
